Dear Sisters and Brothers:
My name is Georgia A Manning, Grand
Representative to Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.
January 7, 2009 at London Chapter Past Grand Matron
Sister Peg Reiterman gave me my appointment.
Nova Scotia is a place of
remarkable natural beauty and thriving culture renowned
for the highest tides in the world at the Bay of Fundy.
They have over 700 festivals annually and award winning
vineyards scattered about the province.
Prince Edward Island every year has
more than 350,000 visitors to the farm that inspired
Montgomery to write the book Anne of Green Gables. Its
red sand cliffs are among the features of Prince Edward
Island National Park which encompasses the coastal
wilderness and sites of historical and archaeological
interest.
I want to thank Past Grand Matron
Peg Reiterman for my appointment. It has been a great
one.
Georgia A. Manning
Grand Representative to Nova
Scotia/PEI
