From the Masonic News Bulletin for June:
Dear Sisters and Brothers
Many of us have been traveling around the District and beyond to attend the inspection of other chapters. Though the inspections will be finished in May there are special nights coming up that you may enjoy attending. Give us a call and we can arrange transportation.
Thanks to Nancy Hansford and Lean Schaeffer for providing the refreshments for our May meetings. Bill Rhodes won the door prize at the May 7th meeting.
Our June 4th meeting will be our Annual Meeting and held on the first floor. At this meeting we will hear the reports from the Trustees and Audit committees. This is the meeting when we also start to look toward another OES year. We will elect our officers for next year, who will be installed in November, and adopt a budget for the next year. My how time flies!!! Please plan to attend this important meeting. This is your chapter and we need your input.
Our second meeting in June will also be on the first floor. We will celebrate June and July birthdays and a door prize will again be given to a lucky member. We have no meetings in July and August so please come and enjoy the fellowship of your sisters and brothers.
The Masonic/OES picnic will be held on Sunday July 13th at 2:00 on the lawn of our own beautiful building. This should be a nice change for the picnic.
The Past Matrons and Past Patrons will meet on June 25th and again for a picnic on August 17. Save both dates and plan to join the group for summer fun.
