Region D,
located in northwest Ohio, is home to District 6 and District 7
of the Grand Chapter of Ohio Order of the Eastern Star.
District 6
is composed of ten chapters located in Lucas, Ottawa and Wood
counties.
District 7
is composed of four chapters located in Defiance, Fulton, Henry
and Williams counties.
Region D is
thrilled to recognize the rich heritage of strong leadership of
our living sisters and brothers who have presided as Worthy
Grand Matron or Worthy Grand Patron for the Grand Chapter of
Ohio.

Region D has many active organizations to which
members may participate:

Association of Chapters for District 6 and 7,
provides leadership for their respective districts. District 6
Association of Chapters has two meetings a year, one in the
spring and one in the fall. The leadership plans the Annual
Flower Sale which provides needed operating funds for the
district as well as providing donations to charities projects.

Century Club is a men’s club and provides much
needed assistance for our chapters and our district. Each year
these men host a St Patrick’s Day Dinner Dance which is usually
held the 2nd Saturday in March.

Line Officer groups meet on the 2nd
Saturday, September through June and this meeting, for our
chapter leaders, helps them to gain education in planning for
their journey to the East and promotes great networking
opportunities
·
The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls (IORG) is an
organization for girls between the ages of 11 and 20. Girls
gain poise, confidence and character while learning leadership
skills, the value of service to others and the importance of
citizenship. Assemblies meet monthly to perform ritualistic
work, engage in service activities and socialize. In Region D
you will find two IORG districts. District # 1 is home to four
assemblies, Maumee # 30, Sylvania # 82, Grand Rapids # 179 and
Beatrice U. Owen # 191. The Grand Deputy for District # 1 is
Mrs. Robin Jackson
rjackson@ohiorainbow.org. District # 2 is home to three
assemblies, Fremont # 128, Genoa # 107 and Lotus # 20. The
Grand Deputy of District # 2 is Miss Pat Knepper

DeMolay International is an organization for young men ages 12
to 21 and is dedicated to preparing young men to lead
successful, happy and productive lives. Young men develop civic
awareness, personal responsibility and leadership skills while
building important bonds of friendship among members worldwide.
In Region D you will find four chapters in the First District,
whose Governor is Dad Ted Korn

Masonic Building on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday;
Fallen Timbers meets in the Perrysburg Masonic Building on the 2nd
& 4th Sunday at 7 p.m.; Ottawa meets at 603 N Main St
in Genoa on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday at
6:30 p.m.; Van Wert meets at 3100 E Main St in Van Wert on the 1st
& 3rd Sunday at 3 p.m.

Memory Circle is for those who have served as
Deputy Grand Matrons for District 6 and meets on the fifth
Wednesday of the month
·
Past President’s group is for those who have served as
President of the District 6 Association of Chapters and meets on
the fifth Saturday of the month
