Ohio's Junior Past Grand Patron Ken Scott and his wife, Rita, traveled to Florida recently for the March 13 installation of Ken's brother, Clyde Scott, as Worthy Patron of Sebastian Chapter #204, Sebastian, Florida.  PGP Ken was the assisting installing officer and administered the obligation to the new Sebastian officers. Clyde's wife, Aline, was installed as Conductress of Sebastian Chapter.

Ken, Rita, Clyde and his wife, Aline, are all Past Matrons and Past Patrons of Worthington #287, Ohio, which is also Clyde and Aline's primary chapter. Several other members of Worthington Chapter who are wintering in Florida surprised Clyde by attending the installation: Past Matron Irene Harpley, and Junior Past Matron and Junior Past Patron, Marilyn and George Braatz.

Partying at General Grand Chapter
As you may know, our own Maxine Jeffers, Past Grand Matron, served as assistant to the Right Worthy Associate Grand Matron at the GGC triennial session last fall.  But her service to our Ohio Grand Chapter and the international group doesn't end there!  Maxine has been appointed chairman of the Ohio Party at the next GGC triennial session in 2012.  Congratulations Maxine!  Party on!

By the way, Ohio's own Vivian Chrisopulos has been appointed Right Worthy Grand Warder for the current triennium.  It is not a line office in the GGC, but it is such an honor to see one of our own Past Grand Matrons in a floor office! Vivian is a member in District 3 and served as Worthy Grand Matron in 1996.

Simmons Move to Springfield
Joe and Lorine Simmons have joined the growing number of Worthington Chapter members who now reside on the grounds of The Ohio Masonic Home in Springfield.  Joe and Lorine live in a villa in the community, along with Joy and Roland Lattanner and Bev and Bill Irwin.  Also living  in an apartment at the "home on the hill" is Thelma Francies.
