Merry Christmas and Happy New Years!!!!
District 9 is selling
thermal tote bags as a fund raiser.
There are two styles. "Zip It" and
"Cinch It". $18 and $23, for every bags
sold, District 9 gets $5.00. Sorry for
the short notice but this offer ends
January 20th 2012.
I would like
to ask the Secretary's of each chapter
to please make the two attachments
available for your members to see at
your next stated meeting. If you have
any questions, you can contact Me or
Sylvia Smith. I have attached the order
form and information on the totes for
you to share.
All order
forms and payments need to be mail back
to me by January 15th 2012. Please make
checks payable to Brandi Altstaetter.

to attend District 25 Charities
Event: "We The People"
Sing-Along and Variety Show to
be held Sunday March 18, 2012 at
Belpre Masonic Lodge, 1411
Putnam ~ Howe Dr., Belpre, OH
At 2:00 PM in the Lodge Room
upstairs we will have the
Sing-along and Variety Show, we
are inviting everyone to
participate. Anyone wishing to
participate should contact Chuck
Merckle, who is our Emcee for
this event. In keeping with this
theme, we are planning to sing
patriotic songs, and encouraging
our members to dance, recite
patriotic poems, and any talents
they would like to entertain us
with.
At 4:00 PM in Hardman Hall
downstairs, we are having a
basket auction. We are asking
each chapter in our district to
bring a "theme" basket and any
other items they would like to
give to charities to be
auctioned. Basket Auction ideas
are attached with this email.
At 6:00PM there will be an "All
you can eat Spaghetti Dinner" We
are asking $8.00 per person,
tickets available at the door.
Our charities team have really
enjoyed working together this
year and are looking forward to
this event. We all have noticed
in our travels that Eastern Star
members really love to sing,
especially patriotic songs.

Vera Bradley
2012
Dear Friends,
We are going to
Vera Bradley again!! The District 18 Charities
Team has planned a trip to Ft. Wayne, Indiana,
for the Vera Bradley outlet sale on Friday,
April 13, 2012. Our motor coach will depart the
Ohio Masonic Home at 8:00 a.m. We will stop for
lunch (on your own) and then continue on for
shopping! Our dinner will be at the Back 40
Junction in Decatur for their prime rib and
seafood buffet
Included in
this tour: roundtrip transportation via deluxe
motor coach, driver tip, tax and tips on tour
paid items, professional escort, and shopping,
shopping, shopping!!
Cost per
person is $80.00. Please send $25.00 as a
deposit to reserve your place on this fun trip
to Ft. Wayne. The balance will be due 2 weeks
before we depart (March 30, 2012). Tell your
friends and neighbors – they do not have to be a
member of Eastern Star to go on this trip. Get
your deposit in soon – don’t miss the bus!
